Pieve a Nievole

Pieve a Nievole is a small town famous for hunting cottage of the Medici family built in Renaissance, which today is home Palazzo Comunale. The name of Pieve a Nievole derives from the Latin "plebe neure" and said that an ancient church was always shrouded by mists because of morphological quality of the area, but also for the nearby marsh was drained today.
